Army Secretary Thomas White and Chief of Staff Gen. Eric Shinseki spoke briefly at a news conference Sept. 14 as they released the names of 74 Army personnel listed as unaccounted for in the Sept. 11 attack on the Pentagon. Of those 74, 22 are active-duty soldiers, 46 are civilians and six contractors.

White said next of kin of these missing people have been notified:
